Abstraction

• The export value of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2021 reached US $ 1.76 billion, an increase of 19.06 percent compared to exports in April 2021. Meanwhile, when compared to May 2020, it increased by 84.90 percent.
• The export value of oil and gas goods in May 2021 reached US$ 80.81 million, up 0.57 percent compared to April 2021. Meanwhile, exports of non-oil and gas goods in May 2021 reached US$ 1.68 billion, up 20.12 percent compared to April 2021.
• Cumulatively, the export value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January – May 2021 period reached US$ 7.31 billion, an increase of 24.32 percent over the same period in 2020.
• Of all exports for the January - May 2021 period, the role of exports of oil and gas goods reached 3.60 percent, while the role of exports of non-oil and gas goods reached 96.40 percent.
• The import value of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2021 reached US$ 275.14 million, an increase of 22.70 percent compared to imports in April 2021. Meanwhile, when compared to May 2020, it increased by 317.87 percent.
• Imports of oil and gas goods in May 2021 reached US$ 153.21 million, an increase of 11.61 percent compared to April 2021. Meanwhile, imports of non-oil and gas goods in May 2021 reached US$ 121.93 million, up 40.19 percent compared to April 2021.
• Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Timur Province for the January - May 2021 period reached US $ 951.40 million, an increase of 5.19 percent compared to the same period in 2020. Of all imports for the January - May 2021 period, the role of imports of oil and gas goods reached 40.57 percent while the role of imports of non-oil and gas goods reached 59.43 percent.
• The trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province in May 2021 was a surplus of US $ 1.48 billion, an increase when compared to the trade balance in April 2021 which was a surplus of US $ 1.25 billion. Meanwhile, cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Timur Province for the period January – May 2021 was a surplus of US$ 6.36 billion.
