NTP in August 2021 was 120.53 or up 1.14 percent compared to NTP in July 2021

Abstract

The NTP of Kalimantan Timur Province in August 2021 was 120.53 or an increase of 1.14 percent compared to the NTP in July 2021. The increase in NTP was caused by the increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased.
NTP per sub-sector of Kalimantan Timur Province in August 2021, namely the Exchange Rate of Food Crops Farmers (NTPP) of 94.88; Horticultural Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTPH) is 104.42; Farmers' Exchange Rate for People's Plantation Crops (NTPR) is 150.84; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 104.40; and the Exchange Rate of Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) of 101.51.
In August 2021, there was only one sub-sector that experienced an increase in NTP, namely the smallholder plantation sub-sector (3.75 percent). Meanwhile, four other sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the food crops sub-sector (-0.29 percent), the horticulture sub-sector (-2.68 percent), the livestock sub-sector (-2.29 percent), and the fisheries sub-sector (-0.69 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Timur Province in August 2021 was 122.10, an increase of 0.93 percent compared to the NTUP in July 2021 which was recorded at 120.97. There is only one sub-sector that experienced an increase in NTUP, namely the smallholder plantation sub-sector.
