Abstract

The increase in NTP was caused by the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which rose higher than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
  • NTP per sub-sector of Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2021, namely the Food Crop Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 94.11; Horticultural Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 102.97; Farmers' Exchange Rate for People's Plantation Crops (NTPR) is 161.01; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 105.07; and the Exchange Rate of Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) of 101.34.
  • In October 2021, there were three sub-sectors that experienced an increase in NTP, namely the people's plantation sub-sector (2.57 percent), the livestock sub-sector (1.19 percent), and the fisheries sub-sector (0.48 percent). Meanwhile, two other sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the food crops sub-sector (-0.07 percent) and the horticulture sub-sector (-0.05 percent).
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Timur Province in October 2021 was 126.04, an increase of 1.61 percent compared to the NTUP in September 2021 which was recorded at 124.04. There are four sub-sectors that experienced an increase in NTUP, namely the people's plantation sub-sector, the livestock sub-sector, and the fishery sub-sector.
