Economics Of Kutai Timur Regency growth at 9,82 Percent

Abstract

The economy of Kutai Timur in 2024 showed positive growth, with the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reaching IDR 159.5 trillion and at constant prices IDR 114.9 trillion. Economic growth was recorded at 9.82 percent compared to the previous year.
By industry, all sectors experienced positive growth, with the highest increase in Electricity and Gas Supply (25.42 percent). In terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Expenditure component recorded the highest growth at 10.52 percent.
The economic structure of Kutai Timur remains dominated by the Mining and Quarrying sector, contributing 75.53 percent to the total GRDP. Meanwhile, the implicit index was recorded at 138.76, with a 13.69 percent decline in its growth rate compared to the previous year.
